Program Integration for Schools

The Lingua Kungfu program is broken down into 4 parts.

Each of these parts are taught in a normal course. However the parts may be seperated and taught as seperate units as part of an integrated school project.

1. Musical

Key advances are taught through short easy to remember songs. The songs cover keystage language advances and core grammatical terms.

2. Art / Plastica

The chinese characters are explored using pictographical representation. Children are encouraged to make their own characters

3. Sport

A 3 step movement is taught for younger children. The movement names tie in liguistically with the lingua kung fu course content. A 2 person sequence is taught for older students. The "phrase game" is taught linking to the sociales section below.

4. Sociales

The legend of Shaolin and the Legend of Bruce Lee is explained with the particular reference to their chinese characters. The role of myth and history is explored. The characters are linked back to the movement names in the sports section and the characters from the Art section. The elementary phrases are re-inforced.
